Shipping lines announce rate restoration ex Nth East Asia to Australia

All shipping lines ex North East Asia (including Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan) to ports and points in Australia would like to advise that in order to maintain a high standard of service to customers, there will be a rate restoration of US$300/20′ and US$600/40′ for both dry and refrigerated cargoes in the base ocean freight to take effect from the 15th of January 2013

This increase will be applied in full on top of existing ongoing market rates to all import shipments on board vessel on or after the 15th of January 2013, and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.
