CHANGES TO CUSTOMS IMPORT ENTRY PROCESSING CHARGES FROM 1 JANUARY 2016

Further to our bulletin in November on the increase of DAFF/Quarantine processing fees from 1st December 2015 , BR International wishes to confirm that the Department of Immigration and Border Protection ( DIBP - “Customs” ), have also restructured Import Entry Processing Charges. 

The below new fees will be effective for all Import Declarations ( “entries” ) lodged after January 1st, 2016.

Note: there are no changes made to shipments with a total value of < AUD $1,000.00 and remain tax free as “low value imports”.
