MUA Industrial Action Patrick Terminals - Update

The Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) has agreed to withdraw its rolling industrial action at Patrick terminals from Wednesday 10th November..

Patrick Terminals and the MUA both attended a long conciliation session at the Fair Work Commission which resulted in the MUA agreeing to cease all notified and ongoing industrial action immediately, with no further action to be notified prior to 10th December 2021.

Although the Maritime Union of Australia and Patrick Terminals have not reached an agreement, the MUA has agreed to stop the series of strikes at Patrick terminals to ease what is described as a “critical situation”, to maintain port operations, and to support Australia's economic recovery.
