Melbourne Terminal - VICT Announces further increases to Terminal Infrastructure Levy from 1st August 2020

To our Valued Customers,  

Further to increases from DP World and Patrick Stevedore earlier this year, VICT has now announced further increases to their “Terminal Infrastructure / Access Charge” for all import & export containers.

The increase in charges will come into effect from 1 August 2020. 

 

This continues to add further cost to importers with drastic increases from the commencement of this levy over the past number of years, and without any assistance from government bodies in ending this upwards cycle.

 

As a result of this significant expense, BRi suppliers are left with no option other than to pass on these costs through the logistics supply chain.
