NEW PACKING DECLARATION FORMATS FOR CONTAINERISED CARGO

Please be advised that the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources ( DAWR ) have implemented new packing declaration formats for all containerised sea freight consignments arriving into Australia.  Whilst the old format will be acceptable for a short time we strongly recommend that all suppliers be informed of this change and commence utilising the new format immediately.

We have attached templates of the new formats, one for annual packing declarations and one for consignment specific packing declarations.

Current annual packing declarations will remain valid however they will need to be replaced with the new format upon expiration.
