Further to our announcement below on the 6th December 2012, BRi’s new and advanced 3PL facility is on track for a post-Easter opening! (Intended start date April 8th).
Our operations specialists are busily preparing the site for what is expected to be an exciting new chapter of business in 2013.
After considerable review of the original design & workflow model our teams have been able to achieve a significant improvement in space utilisation and extended value add services to that of what was originally drafted.
These design initiatives will add a further storage ability which will be made available for all customers effective day one.
In addition to our current (VAS – value added service program) we will also be offering a “clean solution” pick facility for those customers/orders that require a very specialised, intricate and dust free option
We are pleased to confirm that the final touches are being added to the offices, pallet storage, container yard area and receiving so we are counting down the days!
We also note that a number of customers are already displaying further interest in additional storage, pick and pack, system integration, warehousing and distribution throughout Australia and New Zealand so again we are excited with the expansion and we look forward to rolling out something purpose fit for all of you in 2013!
