OOCL SOUTHBOUND RATE INCREASE - SOUTH-EAST ASIA TO AUSTRALIA TRADE

To our Valued Customers,

 

We have been advised by OOCL that they are implementing a rate restoration for the transportation costs for their Southeast Asia-Australia services.

 

The rate increase will become effective from 1st November 2018.

 

Freight rates for traffic from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Indian-Sub continental and Middle-East to Australia will be increased by:

 

USD 200/TEU

USD 400/FEU

 

This will be for both dry and refrigerated cargo in the base ocean freight. This increase will apply on top of existing ongoing market rates and will be subject to accessorial surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.

 

Note – dates are based on shipment onboard date.
