UNIONS EXTEND DP WORLD WORK BANS

To our Valued Clients,

Late yesterday afternoon we rec'd confirmation MUA will extend work bans at DP World through to the end of the month.

In addition to 2-hour stoppages across all shifts on Monday, January 22, this has been extended to the following days.

- January 23 

- January 24 

- January 29 (next Monday week)

 

These continued actions reduce DP World landside throughput by a minimum of 25%. (conservative estimate)

Unfortunately, this will only further impact vessel delays, congestion, increased load/unload times & all the associated costs that go along with it.
