Port of Melbourne delays due to protest

Dear Valued Customers

 

Blockade Australia are now targeting wharves on the eastern seaboard impeding access to the terminals and causing traffic disruptions.

 

This morning in Melbourne, Shepherds Bridge, the main access to the Port of Melbourne, has been blocked both ways and the subsequent traffic congestion is at a standstill.

 

We are unsure how long the protest will continue for today, but Police are onsite managing the situation.

 

Please understand this continued targeting of the Port of Melbourne terminals is having an adverse effect on planned schedules today and will impact the balance of the week, but we will do our best to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum.
