NEW PACKING DECLARATION TEMPLATES

To our Valued Customer

BR International would like to remind our import customs clearance customers of the impending Department of Agriculture and Water Resources ( DAWR ) deadline in relation to packing declaration formats.

The DAWR implemented revised consignment specific and annual packing declarations ( as attached ) in October 2017. Packing declarations in the previous format are still being accepted until June 30, 2018 however any shipments arriving after this date must be accompanied by a packaging declaration in the revised format.

Please ensure your suppliers are aware of these updated formats to avoid any potential delays following the July 1, 2018 cutover date.
