DPWA - Unauthorised Industrial Action - Port Botany

To our Valued Customers,

 

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received advice from DP World Australia (DPWA) executive that unauthorised industrial action is taking place at their Port Botany operation resulting in the cancellation of this morning's 08, 09, 10, 11 & 1200 slots.

 

We understand that DPWA has taken immediate action and will have the matter heard before the Fair Work Commission (FWC) at 1.30PM AEDT today, 30 March 2021.

Whilst no BR International customers were affected by the cancellation of slots today, this industrial action is likely to have a flow on affect over coming days. BR International will work hard to ensure minimal disruption to our customers and as always, we will keep you updated with any relevant information as soon as we are aware.
