INDUSTRY UPDATED - Port Omissions

8/11/2023

Dear Valued Customers,

Due to a mixture of Industrial actions and operational adjustment linked to limited berth availability, we wish to advise that a few vessels will be performing port omissions to mitigate further impact to scheduling.

A few examples:

The contingency plan secured for the affected cargo will be as follows:

  • Sydney exports will load Southern Star vessel MAERSK RIO NEGRO 345N and route via Tauranga for onward connections.
  • Sydney imports will discharge at Melbourne. The PANZ service vessel CAP JERVIS 338S/343N will perform an inducement/2nd Sydney call (following the planned Melbourne call) for loading of MAERK BUTON 339S Sydney imports which are routing from Melbourne.
  • Brisbane imports (via Sydney) will now discharge at Melbourne to connect to SFL HAWAII 345N for Brisbane discharge.
  • Fremantle imports (via Sydney) will now discharge at Melbourne to connect to CAP JERVIS 343N to Sydney, to then load CMA CGM FIGARO 346N for Fremantle discharge.
  • Adelaide imports (via Sydney) will now discharge at Melbourne to connect to CONTI ANNAPURNA 345N for Adelaide discharge.
