General rate increase North East Asia to Australia

General Rate Increase (GRI)

North East Asia to Australia

To ensure the continued provision of high quality services and sufficient capacity to caters for our customer requirements, Maersk Line is implementing the next phase of our revenue recovery program with effect from 15th of April 2013.

Freight rates from North East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea) to Australia will be increased by USD 300 per TEU and USD 600 per FFE.

This rate increase is a reflection of the current unsustainable rate levels that will not allow shipping lines to continue offering their current service portfolio.
