Port Botany closed due to bad weather conditions

Harsh weather conditions force Port Botany to close

Bad weather conditions have forced the Sydney Harbour Master to close both the Port of Sydney and Botany.

Details of all closed Port Container Terminals at Port Botany are as follows:

  • DP World has cancelled all slots up until 9am Wednesday 22 April 2015
  • Patrick’s have cancelled all slots up until 2pm Wednesday 22 April 2015
  • Hutchison’s have cancelled all slots until midnight & will reassess 22 April 2015

Monitoring shall continue, but the ports could remain closed until further notice as destructive winds, heavy rainfall and very heavy swells are expected to continue throughout today.
