Hamburg Sud – Suspension of Detention to Cease - Sydney Empty Container Parks

We have been advised by Hamburg Sud, that the ongoing congestion and delays at the Port of Sydney are now improving. This enables containers to be managed and returned to designated container parks, as per instructions on the EDO.

 

Hamburg Sud are advising their customers that they will be reinstating standard free time terms for Sydney import cargo effective 8th October 2020. Therefore, their last day of detention suspension for Sydney import cargo will be 7th October 2020.

 

It is very important to return the container to the container park state on the EDO, as there are still restrictions in place at certain container parks.
