General Rate Increase (GRI) North East Asia to Australia effective from 15th November 2014

General Rate Increase (GRI) North East Asia to Australia

To ensure the continued provision of high quality services and sufficient capacity to cater for our customer requirements, Maersk Line is implementing the next phase of out revenue recovery program with effect from 15th November 2014.

Freight rates from North East Asia (Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan) to Australia will be increased by USD 300 per TEU and USD 600 per FFE.

This rate increase is a reflection of the current unsustainable rate levels that will not allow shipping lines to continue their current service portfolio.
