Just In: CBP Accepting Requests for Duty-Payment Extensions

 

Due to the effect the coronavirus (COVID-19) is having on the Trade industry, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is creating a process for requests for duty-payment extensions.

 

The CBP expects to issue a Federal Register notice in the immediate future with details on a longer-term, broader extension policy. 

 

Please note that there are no details on the extensions including any associated dates at this time

 

These will be available once posted in the Federal Register.

 

We will forward this information as soon as it is made available.
