Sydney M5 tunnel toll to be introduced as M8 set to open this Weekend

To our Valued Customers,

 

 

 

Sydney motorists are set to be hit with more tolls as early as this weekend, with the opening of the M8.

 

 

 

In conjunction, motorists using the M5 East tunnels, will also be hit with charges as toll fees commence from Sunday 5th July 2020.

 

 

 

The Toll fee will be $50.00 per container (allowing for the 2 trips into & out of Port Botany through the M5 East tunnel).

 

 

 

This unfortunately is in addition to current fees of $30.00 per container to cater for M4 / M5 and M7 motorways.

 

 

 

We apologise for the lack of notice however the commencement of fees and short notice has been a surprise to all parties as recently covered by media outlets;
