MUA STOP WORK – SYDNEY PATRICKS PORT BOTANY

22/1/2016

We has received advice from management at Patrick Port Botany that the terminal will not open from 05:00 Monday 25/01/16 to 27/01/16, 06:00.

The Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) will stop work as advised by the union under legal protected action with Patrick advising that "all vessels will be adjusted".

We understand that Patrick yesterday sought a "cooling off" period in the commission with a decision reserved until later today, 22 January 2016.

Patrick have advised that if successful the terminal will remain open.

BRi will continue to manage the situation in order to minimize the impact on deliveries to customers throughout this period.

Keeping you updated,

Aaron Poole
