General Rate Increase (GRI) – North East Asia to Australia

To ensure the continued provision of high quality services and sufficient capacity to cater for our customer requirements, Maersk Line is implementing the next phase of our revenue recovery program with effect from 7th January 2014.

Freight rates from North East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea) to Australia will be increased by USD 400 per 20ft and USD 800 per 40.

This rate increase is a reflection of the current unsustainable rate levels that will not allow shipping lines to continue offering their current service portfolio.
